kamrul hasan: A campaign and leaflet distribution program was held at Barangaile Bazar in Shibalaya upazila of Manikganj, organized by the Mahadebpur Union BNP, to promote the 31-point state reform agenda announced by Deshnayak Tarique Rahman.
The event took place on Thursday (September 11) afternoon with Khondkar Akbar Hossain Babul — son of late BNP Secretary General Khondkar Delwar Hossain, former Vice President of the Manikganj District BNP, and member of the district convening committee — as the chief guest.
Khondkar Babul said, “There is no alternative to implementing Tarique Rahman’s 31-point agenda in order to restore democracy, ensure economic emancipation, and build the Bangladesh that people aspire to. These points will guide the nation toward a prosperous and discrimination-free state.”
He further stated that the BNP is working as a supportive force for state reform and, once in power, will fulfill the people’s expectations by implementing the 31 points.
Leaders and activists from different levels of the upazila and union BNP were present at the event.
