President Mohammed Shahabuddin, in consultation with Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed and in accordance with Article 95(1) of the Constitution, has appointed 25 new additional judges to the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
The appointments, effective from the date of their swearing-in, are for a tenure of two years, according to a circular issued by the Law and Justice Division on Monday night.

The appointment will take effect upon the oath-taking ceremony, which is expected to be held shortly.
