Chief Returning Officer Professor Dr Mohammad Jasim Uddin has summoned all candidates for Vice President, General Secretary and Assistant General Secretary positions to attend a crucial meeting on Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM in Nobab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban.

This gathering marks a significant milestone as DUCSU and Hall Union elections 2025 campaigns officially commence.

Meeting primarily focuses on observing election code of conduct and maintaining proper electoral environment throughout the campaign period. All VP, GS and AGS candidates from both DUCSU and Hall Union elections have received mandatory attendance notices dated 25 August 2025, reference number DUCSU/2025/1498-C.

Professor Uddin emphasised maintaining electoral integrity during the campaign phase, stating the meeting would address "observance of the Election Code of Conduct and maintaining the overall environment of the election." This marks the first formal gathering between returning officers and candidates since nominations closed.

The university`s electoral body issued the notice from the Office of the Chief Returning Officer, located at Dhaka University, Dhaka-1000. The official communication was distributed to all relevant returning officers and the Senior Secretary of Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building.

Election authorities have prioritised transparency and proper conduct as DUCSU prepares for its most anticipated student election cycle. The meeting represents a crucial step towards ensuring fair competition amongst all candidates vying for key student leadership positions.
