Met office forecasts light to moderate rain in parts of Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds in various parts of the country over the next 24 hours starting this morning.

Rangpur and Mymensingh may see heavier rainfall, while Dhaka, Sylhet, and parts of Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram may also experience scattered showers.

Day temperatures may rise slightly, with night temperatures remaining stable.

Tuesday`s highest temperature was 37°C in Jashore, and the lowest today was 22°C in Bandarban and Rangpur.

Sylhet recorded the highest rainfall at 194mm.

The sun will set in Dhaka at 6:37 pm today and rise at 5:13 am tomorrow.
