Bangladesh Railway has started selling advance train tickets ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. The advance ticket sales began at 8:00 am on Wednesday, May 21. Passengers who purchase tickets today will be able to travel on May 31.

According to the railway`s schedule, tickets for June 1 will be available on May 22, for June 2 on May 23, for June 3 on May 24, for June 4 on May 25, for June 5 on May 26, and for June 6 on May 27.

For the post-Eid return journey, advance tickets for June 9 will be available on May 30. Additionally, tickets for June 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 will be available on May 31, June 1, June 2, June 3, June 4, and June 5 respectively.

To make the ticketing process easier for passengers, Bangladesh Railway has decided to start issuing tickets for western zone trains from 8:00 am, and for eastern zone trains from 2:00 pm.

All Eid journey tickets must be purchased online.
