Bangladesh drawn with India, Pakistan, and NZ in Champions Trophy

Bangladesh has been placed in Group A alongside cricket heavyweights India, Pakistan, and New Zealand in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.

The tournament, scheduled from February to March, will be co-hosted by Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

The Tigers will kick off their campaign against India on February 20 in Dubai. They will then face New Zealand on February 24 and Pakistan on February 27, with both matches set in Rawalpindi.

Group B comprises Afghanistan, South Africa, and Ashes rivals Australia and England. The group stage opens with Afghanistan taking on South Africa in Karachi on February 21. England and Australia are set to clash in Lahore on February 22, followed by the much-anticipated Pakistan-India encounter on February 23.
The tournament will feature 15 matches played across three venues in Pakistan—Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi—and one in the UAE, Dubai. Lahore will host the second semi-final and the final on March 9 unless India reaches the final, in which case Dubai will host it. Reserve days have been allocated for both semi-finals and the final.

The eight teams competing in the Champions Trophy earned their spots by finishing in the top eight of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 points table. Fans eagerly await the high-stakes encounters, particularly the sub-continental rivalries in Group A.
