  Google Pay to launch in Bangladesh within month: Asif Mahmud

Online Report : Google Pay, one of the world’s leading digital payment platforms, is set to officially launch in Bangladesh within the next month, according to Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, Adviser to Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives.

In a recent post on his verified Facebook page, Mahmud stated, “After a long wait, the widely-used digital payment service Google Pay is finally being introduced in Bangladesh.”

He added that the service will enable smartphone users to conduct digital transactions, turning their devices into full digital wallets and reducing the reliance on physical debit or credit cards.
