  Date : 23-08-2025

Online Desk : Another student Tasnia, 15, of Milestone School and College succumbed to her injuries on Saturday morning after a month-long battle for her life following a jet plane crash on the school ground.

Tasnia, who suffered 35 per cent of burns, breathed her last at about 7:55AM at the ICU of the hospital. She was the student of class VIII.

With her, the death toll from the tragedy rose to 36.

So far, 20 plane crash victims died at the hospital. Twenty-two others are still undergoing treatment, while 14 have been discharged from the hospital.

The fatal crash occurred around 1:30PM on July 21, shortly after an FT-7 BGI fighter jet took off from the Kurmitola Airbase, sparking a massive blaze that claimed multiple lives, most of them children.
