The People Will Never Let the Conspirators Succeed — Dr. Bablu

Kamrul Hasan: Dr. Khondkar Akbar Hossain Bablu, former vice president and current member of the convening committee of the Manikganj District BNP, as well as a nomination aspirant for the paddy sheaf symbol from Manikganj-1 constituency, said that the farsighted leadership and political wisdom of BNP’s Acting Chairman Deshnayak Tarique Rahman have given new momentum to the movement for protecting democracy and the constitution in Bangladesh.

He said, “The people of this country will never allow any conspirator to succeed. BNP is a democratic party — we have always fought for the rights of the people. To overcome every crisis, we must build united public opinion to resist all conspiracies.”

Dr. Bablu made these remarks while addressing a views-exchange meeting held on Wednesday afternoon at the premises of the Jionpur Union Parishad in Daulatpur upazila. The event was organized by the Jionpur Union BNP and its affiliated bodies as part of the campaign, leaflet distribution, and public outreach for implementing Tarique Rahman’s declared ‘31-Point Program for Repairing the State Structure.’

The meeting was presided over by upazila BNP leader Md. Lutfar Rahman Chopal, while Advocate Muhammad Nurul Islam Kuntu, organizational secretary of the upazila BNP and a member of the district convening committee, attended as the special guest.

Among others present were: upazila BNP joint general secretary Md. Aminul Islam, Ghior upazila BNP vice president Md. Anwar Hossain, Shibaloy upazila BNP vice president Abdur Razzak, district Krishak Dal member Abul Kalam Azad, former senior vice president of Daulatpur upazila Swechchhasebak Dal K.M. Chan Mia Master, former joint convener of upazila Jubo Dal Md. Rezaul Karim, Charkmirpur union BNP general secretary Md. Ayub Ali, Bachamara union BNP general secretary Md. Yahia Khan, organizing secretary Moinul Hossain, Baghutia union BNP president Zainal Master, Kholsi union BNP president Dr. Abdul Mannan, Professor Delwar Hossain, district Krishak Dal member Md. Liton Hossain, upazila Jubo Dal convening committee member Md. Delwar Hossain Soikat, district Zia Projonmo Dal joint general secretary Md. Shafiqul Islam Shafiq, Jubo Dal leader Md. Kamal Hossain, BNP leader Himon Khan, and upazila Zia Projonmo Dal joint general secretary Md. Mizanur Rahman Mizan, among others.
Local dignitaries, BNP leaders, and activists from different affiliated organizations also attended the event.

Dr. Bablu said, “According to the directives of Deshnayak Tarique Rahman, the implementation of the 31-point state reform plan is the roadmap for the people’s liberation. Every leader and activist must stand beside the people, listen to their problems, and work sincerely to solve them. Only then can Bangladesh become a developed, modern, and prosperous nation.”

He further said, “After 17 years of struggle, the interim government has announced that the next national election will be held in the first half of February next year, fulfilling the people’s long-awaited expectation. However, an anti-liberation clique is conspiring to sabotage the election. We must remain united to resist these evil forces and uphold the democratic process.”

Addressing the party activists, he emphasized, “There must be no division within the party. All differences should be forgotten for the sake of the nation. Manikganj BNP has always been at the forefront of every movement and struggle. To ensure victory for the paddy sheaf in every constituency of the district, we must work in unity. Only when Deshnayak Tarique Rahman becomes the Prime Minister can the people’s rights be established and the national crises resolved.”

In conclusion, Dr. Bablu prayed for the recovery and long life of Begum Khaleda Zia, and for the good health and successful leadership of Deshnayak Tarique Rahman.
