Tarique Rahman is the Right Leader for the Welfare of the Nation — Payel

Kamrul Hasan:BNP’s Acting Chairman and National Leader Tarique Rahman has set a shining example in national politics through his unforgettable role in protecting Bangladesh’s independence, constitution, and democracy. His visionary leadership, political wisdom, and strategic foresight have earned widespread recognition not only in Bangladesh but also on the international stage. Speaking at a public gathering, Mazharul Islam Khan Payel, a member of the central convening committee of JASAS, a fearless activist of the movement, and the standard-bearer of the BNP for Manikganj-2 constituency, said that “for the overall progress, stability, and welfare of Bangladesh, Tarique Rahman is the only qualified leader capable of fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of the people.” The event was held on Friday evening (October 10) at Hatipara in Manikganj Sadar Upazila. It was organized by Upazila JASAS under the initiative of Union JASAS as part of the nationwide campaign to promote Tarique Rahman’s 31-point reform proposal for rebuilding the state structure. The program included leaflet distribution, mass communication, a discussion meeting, and a cultural performance. The meeting was presided over by Pradip Kumar Sutradhar, President of Manikganj Sadar Upazila JASAS, while Advocate Abdul Alim, the General Secretary, conducted the proceedings. Mosharaf Hossain Sikder, Convener of Manikganj District JASAS, attended the event as the chief guest. Among others present were Shamim Biswas, Member Secretary of District JASAS; Advocate Lal Mia Lalon, Organizing Secretary of Sadar Upazila BNP; Shamim Mridha, General Secretary of Hatipara Union Jubo Dal; BNP leaders Arif Biswas and Mostafa Kamal, along with hundreds of activists from BNP and its affiliated organizations, local dignitaries, and around one thousand residents of the area. “Bangladesh is now free from fascism under Tarique Rahman’s leadership” In his address, Payel said, “It is due to the firm leadership and farsighted strategies of Tarique Rahman that Bangladesh has been freed from fascist rule. He has shown that national unity is the key to liberation and development. Embracing the ideals of the Proclaimer of Independence, Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, we must overcome all divisions and ensure victory for the ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ in the upcoming election.” He further said that, following 17 years of continuous struggle, the interim government has announced that the national election will be held in the first half of February next year to fulfill the people’s long-cherished expectations. However, he warned that an anti-liberation clique is plotting to derail the election process. Payel urged the people to remain united and build a strong public opinion to safeguard the democratic process. “Tarique Rahman is the symbol of national hope” Payel added, “Manikganj BNP has always been at the forefront of every movement and struggle. In the coming election, we must work together to ensure victory for the ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ in every constituency of the district. Only under Tarique Rahman’s leadership as Prime Minister can Bangladesh achieve comprehensive development, restore people’s rights, and resolve national crises.” He also prayed for the recovery and long life of Begum Khaleda Zia, Chairperson of the BNP, and for the good health and continued success of National Leader Tarique Rahman. The event concluded with a vibrant cultural performance, where local artists presented patriotic songs celebrating the spirit of democracy and freedom.
