  SAG Fashion organizes football tournament for workers in Tongi

Syed Atik, Gazipur: A football tournament organized for workers of SAG Fashion Limited concluded with a lively final match at Tongi in Gazipur on Monday, August 31.

The final was held in a festive atmosphere in the Balur field at Bhadam, Tongi, bringing together workers, employees and officials of the company.
In the final, the Cutting Section faced the Finishing Section of SAG Fashion Limited. The match generated considerable enthusiasm among the company`s workers and staff, with a large number of employees gathering at the venue to enjoy the game.
Chairman of SAG Fashion Limited Peter Heinrich Geil attended the final as the chief guest. Among others, Tongi West Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Arifur Rahman, BNP leader Md. Fakhrul Islam, company General Manager (GM) Md. Rafiqul Islam, Head of Commercial Saiduzzaman Saeed, and other senior officials were present.
Officials, employees and workers from different sections of SAG Fashion Limited attended the event and enjoyed the final match. The gathering created a festive atmosphere across the field.
Speaking on the occasion, SAG Fashion Limited Chairman Peter Heinrich Geil said the tournament was organized to strengthen friendship, harmony and mutual relations among workers alongside their professional responsibilities.
He said sports provide workers with an opportunity to enjoy themselves and help create an environment of cooperation and mutual understanding among employees.
The chairman also expressed hope that the company would continue organizing similar sports and recreational activities for the welfare and entertainment of its workers in the future.
