Man`s body found floating in Khulna river

Police recovered the floating body of an unidentified individual from a river under Khan Jahan Ali Police Station in Khulna district on Saturday.

The identity of the deceased, aged about 13, could not be known yet, the police officials said.

Confirming the matter, Khan Jahan Ali Police Station officer-in-charge Shariful Islam that locals spotted body floating on the water of the river and informed police.

Being informed, a team of police recovered the body and sent it to Khulna General Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination, the OC added.
